Why Choose ClocksUpcycled?

We use high-quality quartz movements from Seiko and UTS (German), ensuring your clock will remain reliable for years to come. Trust us to bring your cherished clock back to life with our expert repair service.

Our repair service is available across the UK. Simply send your broken clock to us, and we’ll return it fully repaired within 3-4 weeks. We primarily use Royal Mail TRACKED 24/48 for secure delivery, but we can also accommodate Evri if the customer prefers.

The photos below showcase a range of quartz clocks that I have recently repaired or converted to battery power.
Commitment to Originality
Maintaining the original aesthetics of your clock is my top priority. Unlike many other companies that simply replace the movement and fit a pair of generic, often cheap, Chinese hands, I go the extra mile. I meticulously rework the clock’s original hands to ensure they fit the new movement perfectly. This dedication to detail sometimes requires custom fabricating parts, even utilising 3D printing technology, to preserve the clock’s authentic look.
Attention to Detail
Every clock I repair is treated with the utmost care. My goal is to return your clock to you looking exactly as it did when you sent it to me. Whether it’s a simple repair or a complete conversion to battery power, the original hands are always retained to maintain the clock’s unique character and charm. Rest assured, when you trust your clock to my repair service, you are choosing a meticulous and authentic restoration that honours the original craftsmanship of your timepiece.

No Value to others – Sentimental Value to YOU
Customers sometimes approach me a little nervously – embarrassed by the low monetary value of the clock they want repairing. PLEASE don’t be – I fully appreciate that some clocks have HUGE SENTIMENTAL VALUE and a £40-£75 repair is worth every penny. An example of this is this FUNKY Tour De France Clock bought by a customer over 35 years ago. It was a tricky repair with a modern pendulum drive unit – every part 100% different to the original – but we got there. That poor cyclist will hopefully be riding for another 30 years to come!
