A lovely mid-sized mantel clock which has been stripped down and converted to a quiet, hassle free, accurate QUARTZ movement (AA battery). At the same time it has been given a full makeover in a satin Burgundy paint. All the original hands, dial, glass have been maintained – no replacement modern parts except the movement inside the clock. Instead of leaving two big holes where the winders were – the clock has been installed with some custom made brass “faux” winders to keep it looking authentic. This clock has a WEDDING PLAQUE on the front from 1949.
